Introduction: My name is Jake, owner and instructor at Southern Utah Scuba. Diving has been my obsession since I was certified over 30 yrs ago. I became an instructor in 2004 and my wife soon became my first student. Since then diving has taken us to so many amazing places and now our kids are among my students as well. Diving has greatly enriched our family travel and given us a common passion.

My mission is to help you become a safe diver so you can visit these same beautiful places and share unforgettable memories with your spouse, family, or friends.

As an Instructor with SDI (Scuba Diving International) and TDI (Technical Diving International), I offer about 2 dozen advanced and specialty courses in addition to Open Water Certification.
